Innovative Technology Solutions

Ensure your mainframe database is up to speed with current technologies when you turn to Technetron Unlimited Inc. for software and technology solutions. We offer services locally in New York City and remotely throughout the United States. Our team is committed to providing your company with a variety of software programs to improve the efficiency of your business operations.

ARCHIVE/DUPLEX

Make sure your vital files are kept safe and secure through our backup software program. ARCHIVE/DUPLEX is an individual add-on product or a component of Technetron Duplex Subsystem (TDS), which enhances the CA-IDMS environment. Its creation is a mirror copy of CA-IDMS journal archives, the primary archives that were used by the IDMS archive journal.

Its utility ensures efficiency and involves an off-site processing or manual recovery procedure. Since duplex archives can be used in the same exact manner as their primary counterpart, the extra set of journal archives not only guarantees a manual recovery process, but it also reduces the recovery time when both archives are applied simultaneously.

DB/DUPLEX

Secure your company information with our innovative database solutions. DB/DUPLEX is an individual add-on product or a part of the Technetron Duplex Subsystem (TDS), which enhances the CA-IDMS system environment. It complements and protects CA-IDMS applications by maintaining a mirror copy of the database files.

DB/DUPLEX features a unique method of updating the mirror database with maximum efficiency, and its own error control program minimizes the additional exposure of risk to I/O failures caused by having an extra set of the database. The duplex database can be used in the same exact way as its primary counterpart in normal operations or in recovery situations.

DB/DYNAM

Explore your database with ease by using our innovative software solutions. DB/DYNAM is an individual add-on product or a component of Extended Processing Option (XPO), which enhances the CA-IDMS system environment. It allows users to gain greater control over their processing by having a facility to dynamically allocate, close, and deallocate database files.

It further enhances CA-IDMS environments with DB/DUPLEX by providing the same dynamic features, as well as the mechanisms to start queuing and resynchronizing a duplex database. This allows users to operate continuously while the backup of the database is taken.

DB/INFO

Easily sort all your important files for your business. Either as an individual add-on product or as part of the Extended Processing Option (XPO), DB/INFO enhances the CA-IDMS system environment. It assists businesses by displaying information about a Central Version's (CV) database files, the disk journal, and the load module libraries.

DB/INFO is especially helpful to the user of DB/DUPLEX and DB/DYNAM to show the CV duplex entities and their status online. This includes the user-generated duplex table and the mode of the duplex operation.

DUPLEX/SYNCHRO

Ensure all of your files operate well together with our innovative technology software. DUPLEX/SYNCHRO is an individual product and a component of Technetron Duplex Subsystem (TDS), which enhances the CA-IDMS processing.

It is offered as a batch utility that assists users by copying the database and direct access (disk) journal files, and as the queue/resync module in the Central Version environment. DUPLEX/SYNCHRO is especially useful for CA-IDMS environment when enhanced with the DB/DUPLEX or JOURNAL/DUPLEX in resynchronizing any primary and duplex files.

JOURNAL/DUPLEX

Maintain the condition of your business information with our software solutions. Either as an individual add-on product or part of Technetron Duplex Subsystem (TDS), JOURNAL/DUPLEX enhances the CA-IDMS system environment. It assists users in simplifying their recovery procedure by maintaining a mirror copy of the direct access (disk) journal or creating multiple copies of the sequence (tape) journal.

JOURNAL/DUPLEX employs the parallel update techniques, delays I/O checking, and provides error control logic to minimize performance impact and exposure to risk. The duplex journals are used in the same manner as their primary counterparts, as the critical resource in recovery situations.
